Senior management

As president of Elster AMCO Water, Inc Thomas is responsible for the performance of Elster’s North American water meter AMI/AMR business. He also serves on the Executive Management Team as Regional Director for the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico water business. Thomas holds Master's degrees in both Engineering and Business Administration. He is active in the North American water meter AMI/AMR industry and serves as Secretary to the AWWA Meter Standards Committee.

John is responsible for the overall financial operations and integrity of Elster AMCO Water as well as overseeing the direction and implementation of IT strategy across the company.  He brings a strong background in corporate finance, cost accounting and budgeting to the Elster Group.  John has worked for Elster for the past 15 years having last served as Sr. Financial Manager for Elster Electricity in Raleigh before moving to Ocala in 2006.  He holds an MBA from Francis Marion University and a BS in Accounting from Winthrop University.

As Vice President Field Operations for Elster AMCO Water, Inc. Jamie is a key driver in delivering solutions-based products and services to the North American markets of the water utility business.  He serves a critical role in strengthening our position as a leading provider of  water utility metering solutions through the delivery and support of our solution-based services to our clients in North America.  He is an accomplished executive with more than 28 years in sales, manufacturing, and quality in the water metering industry. 

Jamie joined Elster in 1980 and has held management positions in sales, quality, and manufacturing/operations both globally and domestically. He holds CMS, DMS & IQA qualifications from the University of Luton and has served many terms with ASQ, including serving as local chair.

Alistair is responsible for Elster AMCO's quality and engineering departments. Prior to joining Elster, Alistair worked for ABB as General Manager for Electromechanical Electricity meters in the UK.  In this time he was involved as the project manager for a new electricity meter range from concept to market launch. Previously he worked for the GEC Group in the UK in various manufacturing divisions.

As the Manager of Operations for Elster AMCO Water, Inc. Joe Gallagher is responsible for overall operations of the organization and a staff involved in a variety of diverse support functions. He establishes operations standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery  Joe joined Elster AMCO Water Inc. from Elster Electricity in Raleigh, NC where he led the capacity expansion for the REX meter and the new product production launch of the REX2 meter.  He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton. He is a certified Six Sigma Greenbelt and has worked in the manufacturing industry with: Cummins Engine Company, Standard Products, Cooper Oil Tool, and General Motors. He has over 19 years of experience reducing cost, implementing new equipment and processes, launching new products into production and continually improving operations.
